Missing In Action on a flight from Greenland to Goose Bay, Labrador, December 10, 1943. En route to Africa, the crew's plane lost communication, ran out of gas and had to make a forced landing. Were lost. They tried hunting and fishing to no avail. Last seen December 23, 1943 when he and two others went on a rubber raft to seek aid.
