SERVED AS FIELD ARTILLERY UNIT COMMANDER, COMMUNICATION OFFICER AND COMBAT LIAISON OFFICER. RELIEVED FROM ACTIVE DUTY ON DECEMBER 16, 1945 AS A MAJOR.
